The beach restaurant offers beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.
My experience at Mai Pen Rai Bungalows was quite disappointing. The accessibility issues were a major concern, as the steep and uneven paths were challenging, especially with a significant incline. the cleanliness of the bungalow left much to be desired, with a musty smell and unsatisfactory hygiene, which overshadowed any potential comfort I could have enjoyed.

magical, magical, magical
The location and setting of my Beach Front Bungalow was superb, as I woke up steps away from the waves crashing right outside my door. The atmosphere was laid back, and I genuinely enjoyed the delicious meals at the beachfront restaurant while soaking in the stunning views. Exploring the nearby hidden gems like the waterfall made my trip even more special.

For an easier stay, consider bringing a smaller bag—steep paths and sandy beach walks can be quite the workout!

The location is stunning, built right into the cliffs. Waking up in my Beach Front Bungalow was nothing short of magical, with waves lapping just steps away. The rustic charm of the bungalow makes it ideal for relaxing in a hammock. Enjoyed fresh, flavorful meals at the beach restaurants. The atmosphere is laid-back, with Bob Marley tunes adding to the vibe. access to the bungalows can be challenging due to steep, uneven stairs—definitely not for everyone. The shower in my room had poor water flow, making it frustrating at times. The path to the beach is beautiful but requires a confident motorbike rider as it's steep with many curves. it’s a dreamy escape with a few quirks to be aware of.
